TARGA NEW ZEALAND Mon 12th Oct - Mon 19th Oct 2020 - ITINERARY

BLAST Experiences are proud to be an official partner of TARGA NZ. It is an event that is on the bucket list of many motor enthusiasts and now BLAST Experiences are making it easily accessible for Australian residents.

Monday 12th October

Arrive in Auckland early (or day/s prior), collect cars from Port which is 5 minutes' drive from Auckland airport.

Overnight - Sky City Hotel Auckland

Tuesday 13th October

Documentation day will start at the Albany Sport Arena from 11am with vehicle scrutineer followed by driver briefing at 4pm.

Legends of Targa Dinner will begin at 7pm, a sit down meal with casual dress as new members are inducted into the hall of fame.

Overnight - Sky City Hotel Auckland

 

Wednesday 14th October

Start from Albany and travel west before heading north for lunch at Mangawhai Heads on the East Coast then on to Whangarei for the first of two nights. Approximately 120kms of special stage with 170kms off touring.

Overnight - Distinction Whangarei Hotel

 

Thursday 15th October

Starts and finishes in Whangarei with a lunch stop at Russell. Approximately 170kms of special stage and 270kms of touring.

Overnight - Distinction Whangarei Hotel

 

Friday 16th October

Starts in Whangarei and heads south back to Auckland. This is a short day to allow plenty of time to arrive back in Auckland ahead of the rush hour traffic as we overnight in Manukau City. Approximately 80kms of special stage and 130kms of touring.

Overnight - The Sebel Auckland Manukau  

Saturday 17th October

Starts in Manukau City and head south with a lunch stop at Hampton Downs race Track before heading east to the Coromandel Peninsula stopping at Whitianga. Approximately 140kms of special Stage and 250kms of touring.

Overnight - Crows Nest Apartments

 

Sunday 18th October

Starts from Whitianga and heads south to Waihi Beach and then west to finish in Pukekohe Town Centre. Approximately 120kms of special stage with 220kms of touring. Prize giving is at 7pm in Pukekohe

Overnight -  Aveda Motor Lodge 

 

Monday 19th October

Meet at Customs Clearance Centre so vehicle can be prepared to be loaded onto container. Depart Auckland.

Shipping 

Based on 2 cars per 40 foot container (Ex Mel/Syd/Bne Ports) including all mpi’s documentation, loading and unloading at each end.

Targa Tour Event– Based on early bird price and inclusive of Medical Levy, Health and Safety and Track it GPS

  • Includes 2 tickets to the Prizegiving function and 2 lunch tickets per day

  • Includes 2 tickets to the Legends Dinner

Accommodation – 7 nights accommodation as stated in itinerary (twin / Double share)

 

BLAST Concierge Service - BLAST Experiences will attend the event and will assist with:

  • Arrival prior to / departure after the event to ensure seamless pick up / drop off of vehicles

  • Transporting luggage throughout the trip. We will have a van and will load the group’s baggage each day and transport to the next hotel

  • Seamless check in – where possible, we will pre arrange check in

  • Making dinner reservations / appointments

  • 24hr Support on the ground for the group

Cost:

Total cost per vehicle (2 pax) is $14,990
